Belle is a new addition to our kennel. I will be evaluating her over the next month to let ya'll know how she is doing. I know she is not as blueticked as what I like but she comes from a long line of blueticks.  I bought her mainly as a brood bitch with the hopes that she would hunt like I was told she would. We will just have to take her out and see.

Took Belle out today. It was 16 degrees out and the bunnies were holed up tight. Only got 2 short chases with her and Nelly. Didn't keep them out long, only about 2 hours. She did pretty good for our first trip to the brush. Took her a little while to warm up to me being her new master. She stayed close and didn't really start hunting for about an hour. She showed some good potential though. She packed real good when Nelly got the 2 bunnies up. And after she settled down and got used to me she handled great. After the second bunny she started hunting and getting in the thick stuff pretty good. But we just didn't get any more up. I will post more updates on her next week.  From what I seen today I truelly think, that with some more tracks, she will fit in with my pack pretty well.

Took Belle out again today. I toook her with my Abby and Kacey dogs. Snow was up past her belly but she showed decent hunt and she continues to pack real well. Not able to give a full evaluation on her as of yet. We just have not had a good year. Not getting but 1 or 2 rabbits up every time we go out and they are going right to the hole. Hopefully this weather will break on a day that I am off work so I can run her and get a better feel for her. Looks like I will be running all spring.
